Abstract: As AI systems evolve, evaluating the reliability, accuracy, and safety of Large Language Models (LLMs) has become a core engineering challenge. Traditional QA approaches fail when outputs are probabilistic, open-ended, and context dependent. This talk introduces a practical, production-oriented test architecture built using the DeepEval evaluation framework, demonstrating how teams can bring discipline, measurability, and repeatability to LLM quality assurance.
In this session, we break down the testing lifecycle—prompt generation, context injection, response capture, metric-based evaluation, and continuous monitoring—supported by a demo framework that integrates DeepEval with modern confidence scoring approaches. Attendees will learn how to apply key evaluation metrics such as Relevance, coherence, faithfulness, context recall, precision, and completeness to measure LLM behaviour across complex RAG workflows. Through a live walkthrough of the DeepEval -demo framework, we will explore how confidence scoring enhances safety in real deployments and how to interpret evaluation outputs to guide iterative improvement.
This talk provides QA leaders, engineering managers, and AI practitioners with a blueprint for establishing trustworthy LLM systems and integrating automated evaluation.
