Introduction
These Event Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern registration for and participation in conferences, seminars, webinars, training programmes, awards, exhibitions, networking activities, and other events or services organised, hosted, managed, or provided by Navigo Seminars (“Navigo”).
These Terms apply to all individuals and organisations participating in or engaging with a Navigo Event, including delegates, attendees, speakers, presenters, trainers, award applicants, nominees, winners, sponsors, exhibitors, partners, corporate representatives, guests, and online participants.
By registering for, purchasing, accessing, attending, submitting information to, participating in, sponsoring, exhibiting at, speaking at, or otherwise engaging with a Navigo Event or service, the Participant acknowledges that these Terms have been read and understood and agrees to be bound by them, subject to applicable law.
Where a Participant acts on behalf of an organisation, the Participant confirms that they have the authority to accept these Terms on behalf of that organisation.
Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms:
“Event” means any conference, seminar, webinar, training programme, awards programme, exhibition, networking activity, meeting, or other event or activity organised, hosted, managed, or promoted by Navigo.
“Participant” means any individual or organisation participating in, attending, accessing, or otherwise engaging with an Event or Navigo service, including a delegate, speaker, trainer, sponsor, exhibitor, award applicant, nominee, winner, guest, partner, or online participant.
“Delegate” means an individual registered to attend or participate in an Event.
“Speaker” means an individual invited or accepted by Navigo to speak, present, train, moderate, chair, or otherwise contribute to an Event.
“Sponsor” means an organisation or entity purchasing or receiving sponsorship or promotional rights in connection with an Event.
“Exhibitor” means an organisation or entity authorised by Navigo to exhibit, display, promote, or demonstrate products or services at an Event.
“Award Applicant” means an individual or organisation submitting an application, nomination, entry, project, initiative, achievement, or other information for consideration in connection with an award or recognition programme.
Event Registration and Payment Terms
Registration for an Event may be subject to acceptance by Navigo.
Navigo reserves the right, subject to applicable law, to accept, decline, suspend, or cancel a registration or participation request where reasonably necessary, including for reasons relating to capacity, eligibility, payment status, security, compliance, conduct, or the nature of the Event.
Registration is personal to the registered Participant unless transfer is expressly permitted under the applicable Event terms.
Registration does not guarantee access to any particular Speaker, session, presentation, venue, networking opportunity, or other Event feature unless expressly stated otherwise.
Participants are responsible for ensuring that all information supplied during registration or application is accurate, complete, and current.
Navigo may request additional information where reasonably necessary to verify a registration, application, eligibility, payment, identity, or other relevant matter.
Applicable registration, participation, sponsorship, exhibition, award, training, or other fees will be communicated through the relevant Event information, booking process, quotation, invoice, agreement, or other applicable documentation.
Fees must be paid in accordance with the payment terms specified by Navigo.
Failure to make payment by the applicable due date may result in cancellation, suspension, withdrawal of access, or other appropriate action.
Taxes, duties, levies, or other applicable government charges will be applied in accordance with the laws applicable to the relevant transaction.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, bank charges, currency conversion charges, payment-provider charges, and similar charges imposed by a Participant's bank or payment provider may be payable by the Participant.
Navigo may use third-party payment providers to process payments.
Event Cancellation and Refund Terms
Cancellation and refund rights applicable to Event registrations are governed by Navigo's Cancellation Policy and Refund Policy.
The applicable cancellation and refund terms may vary depending on the Event, registration category, booking type, or other applicable arrangements.
Participants should review the applicable Cancellation Policy and Refund Policy before completing registration or payment.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or restrict any mandatory statutory right to cancellation, withdrawal, refund, or other remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
Transfer of Event Registration
Where registration transfer is permitted, a Participant may request transfer of the registration to another eligible individual.
Transfer requests must be submitted to Navigo in accordance with the procedure and timeframe specified for the relevant Event.
Navigo may require information concerning the proposed replacement Participant before approving a transfer.
The replacement Participant must comply with these Terms and all applicable Event requirements.
A registration transfer does not automatically create an entitlement to a refund, fee reduction, or other compensation.
Event Programme Changes and Event Cancellation
Navigo will make reasonable efforts to deliver each Event substantially in accordance with the applicable Event information.
Navigo reserves the right to make reasonable changes to an Event where necessary, including changes to Speakers, Trainers, Moderators, Panellists, sessions, topics, programme order, timings, venue, Event format, online platform, Sponsors, Exhibitors, content, or other Event arrangements.
Such changes may arise from Speaker or Trainer availability, operational requirements, venue issues, technical matters, security considerations, regulatory requirements, health and safety considerations, travel restrictions, or other circumstances beyond Navigo's reasonable control.
A change to an individual Speaker, session, topic, timing, venue, Sponsor, Exhibitor, or other programme element will not ordinarily create an entitlement to compensation where the overall nature and purpose of the Event remain substantially unchanged.
Navigo may cancel, postpone, relocate, modify, or reschedule an Event where reasonably necessary.
Circumstances may include insufficient registrations, Speaker availability, venue issues, technical problems, governmental or regulatory restrictions, security concerns, health emergencies, travel restrictions, force majeure events, or other circumstances beyond Navigo's reasonable control.
Where an Event is cancelled or materially changed, Navigo will communicate the applicable arrangements to affected Participants.
Any refund or alternative arrangement arising from cancellation or rescheduling will be handled in accordance with the applicable Refund Policy, Cancellation Policy, Event-specific terms, and applicable law.
Delegate Responsibilities and Event Attendance
Participants are responsible for:
Providing accurate registration and application information;
Arranging travel and accommodation where applicable;
Obtaining required visas, permits, insurance, and travel documentation;
Complying with applicable venue requirements;
Complying with applicable health and safety requirements;
Protecting personal belongings;
Maintaining appropriate professional conduct; and
Complying with these Terms and applicable Event requirements.
Navigo does not guarantee visa approval, immigration clearance, travel arrangements, accommodation availability, or entry into any particular country.
Failure to attend an Event does not constitute cancellation and does not ordinarily create an entitlement to a refund, subject to the applicable Refund Policy and mandatory applicable law.
Code of Conduct and Privacy
All Participants are required to comply with the Navigo Code of Conduct.
The Code of Conduct establishes the behavioural standards applicable to Participants and forms part of the framework governing participation in Navigo Events.
A breach of the Code of Conduct may result in appropriate action, including a warning, restriction or withdrawal of Event access, removal from an Event, cancellation of participation, or exclusion from future Events, subject to applicable law.
Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws and the Navigo Privacy Policy.
Participants should review the Privacy Policy for information concerning the collection, use, disclosure, retention, protection, and other processing of personal data.
Speakers, Sponsors, Exhibitors and Award Participants
Speakers and Presenters
Speakers, presenters, Trainers, Moderators, Panellists, and other contributors are responsible for the content they provide to Navigo or present during an Event.
Speakers and other contributors should make reasonable efforts to ensure that presentations, statements, statistics, examples, materials, and other content are accurate and appropriately sourced.
Speakers and other contributors must not knowingly submit or present material that infringes another person's intellectual property rights, confidentiality rights, privacy rights, or other legal rights.
Speakers and other contributors are responsible for obtaining all permissions, licences, consents, and approvals necessary for third-party materials incorporated into their presentations or other contributions.
Navigo does not necessarily endorse, verify, or adopt opinions, statements, recommendations, forecasts, claims, or conclusions expressed by individual Speakers, presenters, Trainers, Panellists, or other contributors.
Opinions and statements expressed by Speakers and other contributors are attributable to the respective Speaker or contributor unless expressly stated otherwise.
Sponsors and Exhibitors
Sponsors and Exhibitors must comply with these Terms, applicable Event-specific agreements, venue requirements, and the Navigo Code of Conduct.
Sponsors and Exhibitors are responsible for ensuring that promotional materials, products, services, claims, demonstrations, and representatives comply with applicable law.
Sponsors and Exhibitors must not engage in misleading, deceptive, aggressive, unlawful, or inappropriate promotional practices.
Promotional activities must take place only within areas and during times permitted by Navigo.
Navigo may require the removal or modification of promotional material that is reasonably considered inappropriate, misleading, unlawful, offensive, unsafe, or inconsistent with the Event.
Sponsorship or exhibition does not constitute an endorsement by Navigo of a Sponsor, Exhibitor, product, service, claim, or organisation unless expressly stated otherwise.
Awards and Award Participants
Navigo may operate awards, recognition programmes, competitions, rankings, or similar initiatives.
Award Applicants are responsible for ensuring that all information submitted is accurate, complete, current, and not misleading.
Award submissions may contain information relating to an organisation, project, initiative, achievement, client, customer, employee, team, performance, metric, feedback, testimonial, case study, commercial activity, or other relevant matter.
The Award Applicant must have the appropriate authority and permissions to submit such information to Navigo.
Where an Award Applicant provides information concerning a third party, including a client, customer, employee, team member, partner, or other individual, the Award Applicant is responsible for ensuring that the disclosure is lawful and appropriately authorised.
Award Applicants should clearly identify information that is confidential, commercially sensitive, proprietary, restricted, or otherwise subject to limitations on disclosure.
Submission of information does not, by itself, constitute authorisation for Navigo to publicly disclose information identified as confidential or restricted.
Navigo may use submitted information for purposes reasonably connected with administering, evaluating, judging, verifying, promoting, publicising, or communicating an award or recognition programme, subject to applicable law and any specific permissions or restrictions applicable to the submission.
Navigo may request clarification, verification, supporting evidence, or additional information from an Award Applicant.
Navigo may reject or disqualify an entry where information is materially inaccurate, misleading, incomplete, improperly obtained, or submitted without appropriate authority.

Participants may provide or upload content in connection with Navigo Events or services, including presentations, photographs, videos, documents, logos, testimonials, case studies, project information, company information, biographies, profiles, and other materials (“Submitted Content”).
Participants retain ownership of intellectual property rights in Submitted Content, except to the extent expressly provided otherwise in these Terms or a separate written agreement.
By submitting content, the Participant grants Navigo the non-exclusive right to access, store, review, process, reproduce, display, communicate, distribute, or otherwise use the Submitted Content to the extent reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was submitted.
Where a Participant separately authorises publication, promotional use, or other specified use of Submitted Content, Navigo may use the relevant content for those authorised purposes.
Participants represent that they have the necessary rights, authority, licences, and permissions to submit the content and grant the rights contemplated by these Terms.
Participants must not knowingly submit content that unlawfully infringes the rights of another person or organisation.
Intellectual Property Rights
Unless expressly stated otherwise, intellectual property owned or controlled by Navigo in connection with its website, Events, branding, designs, documents, programmes, publications, databases, materials, and other resources remains the property of Navigo or the applicable rights holder.
Event materials provided to Participants may be used solely for personal or internal professional purposes unless otherwise authorised.

Intellectual property belonging to Speakers, Sponsors, Exhibitors, Trainers, Partners, or other third parties remains the property of the respective rights holder.
Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of intellectual property from one party to another unless expressly agreed in writing.

Navigo may photograph, film, record, or otherwise capture Events for legitimate purposes including event documentation, archival purposes, communications, marketing, promotion, reporting, and future Event activities, subject to applicable law.
Participants may appear incidentally in photographs, videos, recordings, or other Event materials.
Where applicable law requires specific consent for a particular use, Navigo will obtain such consent through an appropriate mechanism.
Speakers, Trainers, Panellists, and other contributors may be recorded during their presentations or participation where appropriate and subject to applicable arrangements.
Participants must not record, reproduce, livestream, photograph, or commercially distribute Event sessions or content without prior permission from Navigo and, where applicable, the relevant rights holder.

Participants may be required to accept the terms and policies of relevant third-party providers when using their services.
Navigo is not responsible for the independent acts, omissions, availability, security, policies, or performance of third-party providers, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
Limitation of Liability

Subject to the foregoing, Navigo will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or purely economic losses arising from participation in an Event to the extent such exclusion is permitted by applicable law.
Navigo will not be liable for loss of profits, revenue, business opportunities, anticipated savings, goodwill, reputation, or business interruption, except where such liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to applicable law, Navigo's aggregate liability arising from a Participant's participation in a particular paid Event or service will not exceed the amount actually paid by that Participant to Navigo for that particular Event or service.
The limitations in this section will not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
Force Majeure
Navigo will not be responsible for delay, interruption, cancellation, postponement, or failure to perform its obligations to the extent caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including:

Participants requiring reasonable accessibility arrangements should notify Navigo as early as reasonably practicable.
Navigo will make reasonable efforts to accommodate legitimate accessibility requirements where practicable.
Travel, Visa and Accommodation
Participants are responsible for their own travel, accommodation, visa, insurance, immigration, health documentation, and related arrangements unless expressly included in a Navigo package or agreement.
Navigo does not guarantee visa approval, immigration clearance, flight availability, accommodation availability, or entry into any country.

Subject to mandatory provisions of applicable law that cannot lawfully be excluded, the courts of competent jurisdiction in India shall have jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the relevant Navigo Event or service.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any rights, remedies, protections, or jurisdiction that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Dispute Resolution
Before commencing formal legal proceedings, the parties should make reasonable efforts to resolve any dispute through good-faith communication and negotiation.
Where appropriate, Navigo may propose remote discussions, mediation, or another mutually agreed method of alternative dispute resolution.
Nothing in this section prevents either party from taking urgent legal action where necessary to protect its legal rights or interests.
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with any applicable Event-specific terms, written agreements, and referenced Navigo policies, constitute the agreement governing the relevant participation or transaction between the Participant and Navigo, subject to applicable law.
No representation or term outside these documents will be binding unless expressly agreed in writing by an authorised representative of Navigo.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable by a competent authority or court, that provision will be interpreted or modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable where legally possible.
